Andy Zach Writes About Zombies
I joined Prose and wrote a short piece about regular zombies. It’s right here: A Normal Work Day, Except for Zombies
Now let me explain about the background to this piece: Prose is seeking to create the world’s longest book: they’re soliciting 15,000 entries about Zombie Apocalypse, which they’ll stick together into an enormous book.
Here is Prose’s explanation:
What Is Prose? Are they about Zombies?
Prose is a website for authors. Here’s their self-description:
They don’t have one! At least, I couldn’t find one. Maybe you can here: The Prose Portal
So, I’ll have to rely on my own verbiage. Prose is a site for writers to write. You can practice writing. It’s segregated by genres and different types of writers. They have weekly and daily writing challenges to exercise your writing skill. That’s what my little post was about the Zombie Apocalypse–a challenge to write at least one hundred words in diary format about the first day of the Zombie Apocalypse.
Switching from Zombie Turkeys to human zombies wasn’t too jarring for me. I had to add some human zombie tropes and remove the references to feathers, spurs, plumage, and beaks.
So what do you think? Should I abandon paranormal animals and switch to human zombies?
